Play ideas by age
What helps a nine-month-old is useless for a nine-year-old. Pick the stage you are in — each page has the activities, the skills to work on and what is normal at that age.
Baby
0–12 months
Faces, sounds, touch and tummy time. Bonding is the whole curriculum.
2 activitiesToddler
1–3 years
Walking, first words, pouring, stacking, dumping — and doing it again.
8 activitiesPreschooler
3–5 years
Pretend play, endless "why", scissors, sorting, first letters and numbers.
9 activitiesEarly schooler
5–7 years
Reading, board games, simple experiments, rules and fair turns.
7 activitiesBig kid
7–10 years
Projects, strategy games, building, coding basics and real questions.
4 activitiesAge ranges overlap on purpose. Children develop at their own pace, and a good activity usually works for a year on either side. If something is too easy or too hard, try the band next door — that is more useful than worrying about the number.
