What the video says

  1. Which one floats? Guess first.
  2. A bucket of water and ten things from your kitchen.
  3. Before any testing, your child puts each one under float or sink.
  4. Ask why they think so. Wrong reasons are fine.
  5. Now drop them in, one by one. Tick the right guesses. Circle the surprises.
  6. Most children say heavy things sink.
  7. Then a big steel katori floats, and a small coin sinks.
  8. Do not explain. Ask: how is that possible?
  9. Guess first, then check. That habit is science.
