Pop the bubbles in order
Pop number 1
You counted all the way to 10!
Well played! Now try the real one.
Counting rotis, steps and bangles out loud builds the same number order, with real things your child can touch. That is where counting really sticks.
Count What Is In Front of You →Play it together
Sit with your child and say each number out loud as it pops. If they get stuck, ask “what comes after 4?” instead of pointing at the bubble.
What it practises
Knowing which number comes next. That is all we claim for it. The real version,Count What Is In Front of You, does the same job with things from your kitchen, and does it better.
Five minutes on the screen is plenty. No sign-up, no sound, no ad networks, and nothing your child types leaves this page. More games in the Play corner.
Questions parents ask
Is saying numbers in order the same as counting?
Not quite. Knowing which number comes next is one part of counting. The other part is matching one number to one thing and knowing the last number tells you how many. That second part is best learned with real things to touch, which is why the game points to counting rotis and steps.
Which level should my child start on?
Start with 1 to 5 for a three-year-old, and 1 to 10 once that feels easy. Move to 1 to 20 only when they can say the numbers past ten without help. The teens are hard because their names do not match the way they are written.
